Like any other social media platform, Twitter also suffers from various bugs and issues from time to time. The latest issue seems to affect their phone number verification system.
According to reports, several Twitter users have been experiencing an issue where they are getting an ‘unsupported’ or ‘enter a valid number’ error during phone number verification.
@TwitterSupport I am unable to link my phone number to my Twitter profile? Sometimes it shows my number as invalid, at times to check my internet connection and then " we cannot register this number ".

Others have reported problems when attempting to change the phone number associated with their Twitter account as well.
unable to update phone number on twitter…just says "enter valid phone number"
also, not able to join community notes, it says "not a trusted phone carrier".

How to fix the Phone number error on Twitter
Until Twitter fixes the problem, there’s no solution to it. But, one may be able to avoid the issue by making use of a Google Voice number with their Twitter account. One can opt for it through their Google G-suite account.
Here in the US, I had a Twitter phone verification problem. I solved it by getting and using a Google Voice number using my Google/GSuite account. Can you get a GSuite account in Ukraine?
