Apple has released iOS 16 for your iPhone in developer beta form. While this means first chance to try out new features, it also means plenty of bugs and other fun stuff to find while you test things out. It’s highly recommended to put this beta software on a device that is specifically for testing software, instead of your primary iPhone that you depend on every day. After all, you don’t want your lifeline to be bricked because of early software.
How to get iOS 16 to your iPhone
From your iOS device, go to BetaProfiles.com to download the configuration profile. Your iOS device will notify you when the profile has been downloaded. Open Settings, tap the profile and follow the onscreen instructions to allow installation.
You can always delete this installed profile anytime you want to stop receiving developer beta updates. All you need to do is go through the Delete Profile page, which has all the instructions for each of your devices.
However, if you want to roll back to the previous stable version, you’ll need to do this through your PC or Mac.
